Tutor Application Process

Academic Requirements

To be eligible you need:

• a high ATAR in mathematics and/or English at high school;

• familiarity with and confidence to teach the syllabus.

• A passion to teach young kids

Your application must include your academic record.

Tutorial Material

You will be expected to be familiar with the course material being studied by the students. You will have access to the tutor booklets to refresh those fading memories, and to keep you up to date with the progress of the syllabus. Each week, you are expected to take home the student booklets to mark and they are to be returned the following week. At E.C.C we are very strict with student homework.

Tutor-student relationship

All tutors are expected to behave professionally towards students.

• A cover letter.

• A copy of your CV

• An official copy of your academic record (ATAR).

• A list of times when you available to teach.

• The subject and grade you are comfortable in teaching.
